For as long as I can remember I’ve been avid boardgame fan, I started making my own dice maze games when I was 9 and worked on making games for me and my friends to enjoy. I always wanted a way of o connect with other designers and see what other people are making, once I found out there was a big boardgame design group I was inspired to find ways to help others get their ideas an audience also. The ability to run an event where designers can meet with other fans, designers, publishers, and artists felt like an important GAP that needed to be filled. So I began setting up this event as the Game Artisan Protospiel inspired by other Protospiel events that have found an audience all over the world.
